MEET OUR PRACTITIONERS
Merlene

Merlene has over 20 years experience in preventative health.
She is a Chiropractor, Nutritionist, Health Coach, and a board-certified Fellow in Lifestyle as Medicine.
Merlene is passionate about improving her client’s health literacy so they can make better health choices for themselves and their family.
Merlene is also an endurance athlete and has run four 100km ultra-marathons since turning 50.
Merlene offers Chiropractic services, and also provides 1-1 health coaching.
RECIPE RECOMMENDATION
Chia Seed Puddings
Chia seeds are packed full of nutrients, and are the perfect go-to for an easy breakfast full of protein, omega-3’s, and fibre.
Mix a ratio of 2 tablespoons Chia seeds with ½ cup milk of choice in a glass or bowl.
Let stand for 5-10min, then mix again.
Pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours / overnight.
Top with your choice of berries, nuts, yoghurt - whatever you like really!

15 min MORNING SUNLIGHT
Sunlight in the morning helps establish our circadian rhythm. Having trouble sleeping at night? 15 minutes of sunlight exposure in the morning can help.
Sleep is important for

appetite control
mental health
memory and concentration.
Sleep also decreases our risk of:
heart disease
diabetes
depression
obesity
